Focus on today

Good Morning. Mason had an awful and rough day on Tuesday, with very intense pain in the knee. So bad he could not walk. Thankfully by evening the pain had almost vanished and by morning it was gone. My heart and mind have been fighting about what to write. For now Mason is pain free again.
Why the Easter picture? This morning, as Mason wobbled down the hall balancing on my shoulder, he slowly asked, "What are we going to do about the Easter egg hunt this year?" As my heart sank, I just smiled and said we will think of something. Then he came up with having one color his, as we've done in the past. The picture above is last year's treasures; only weeks before we learned about cancer. Today, I focus on today. Focusing on every bit of laughter and the smiles that have been harder to obtain. Last night, Ally whispered, "I want to visit God, I have a boo boo on my leg."

My heart is breaking for you. I pray so hard that there will be a miracle. I wish there was something I could do. Just know we are thinking of you always.

We do different colors at our Easter egg hunt as well. With such a wide range of ages, and ten kids looking, it is the only fair way to go. Please post the colors your children choose. Maybe the Easter Bunny can use the U.S. mail this year to help.

Hi Andria, So very sorry to hear about your rough Wednesday. What a blessing that Mason woke up pain free today and the sun is shining brightly. A good day to relax on the patio. It must be terribly difficult to think of the holidays; how they were, how they will be...I know that you strive hard to make each day really count and for that Mason and your family are blessed. Sending love, hugs, and positive thoughts your way...all the time. ~Amy ♥

Andria, you know you and your family are surrounded by thousands of loving supportive thoughts at every moment. The only idea I can add to all of that is to remind you that your intense focus on what is bright and good about today is the strongest way through all of this. The past is not helpful and tomorrow is uncertain. You have taught us all to be better at finding the "happy" in every day. Don't let go of that and you will help Mason more than you will ever know. All the love to you and yours. K

And can you post an address where we can send something? Maybe you have in the past, but I just found your blog tonight. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
